As a child, Marlyn  always had a love affair with art and spent a lot of time drawing people and scenery.  She moved to Kenai in 1985 and began taking art more seriously. She opened her own company, Artistic Impulse in 2002. The Kenai Peninsula is the reference  inspiration for her exquisitely whimsical paintings. She specialized in watercolors, oils, and greeting cards.
